Safety First: A Deep Dive into Our "Fortress of Care" at Globetrotters Academy

When you drop your child off at daycare, you aren't just looking for a teacher; you’re looking for a promise. A promise that your child will be protected, monitored, and nurtured in a high-security environment.

At Globetrotters Academy, we take a "no-compromise" approach to safety. We’ve combined rigorous Pennsylvania state legal standards with modern technology to create what we call our Fortress of Care.

Here is exactly how we protect your little explorers every single day.

1. The "Gold Standard" of Background Checks: PA Act 153

We don't just "google" our staff. In accordance with Pennsylvania Act 153, every adult who steps foot in our facility as an employee or long-term volunteer must pass the "Triple Clearance" check:

  • PA State Police Criminal History: A full review of any records within the Commonwealth.

  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance: A deep dive into Department of Human Services (DHS) records.

  • Federal FBI Fingerprinting: A national criminal history check that ensures no red flags exist anywhere in the United States.

2. Biometric & Controlled Access

The days of "propped doors" or simple keys are over. Our East Greenville facility features a secure, single-point entry system.

  • Staff-Managed Access: Only authorized staff can "buzz in" visitors.

  • Verified Pickup: We maintain a strict "ID-at-the-Door" policy for non-parents. If a person isn't on your pre-authorized pickup list with a matching photo ID, they do not enter. Period.

3. Safety-First Facility Design

Safety is built into the very architecture of our classrooms.

  • Clear Sightlines: Our rooms are designed so that teachers have 100% visibility of all children at all times. No "blind spots" in the corners.

  • Child-Proofed Everything: From anchored furniture and rounded table corners to "tamper-resistant" electrical outlets, our space is built for active toddlers.

  • Health Sanitation: We follow a rigorous daily disinfection schedule to keep the "daycare crud" at bay, using child-safe, non-toxic sanitizers.

4. Prepared for the Unexpected: Emergency Protocols

We hope we never have to use them, but we are ready for anything. Our staff undergoes regular training for:

  • Pediatric First Aid & CPR: 100% of our lead staff are certified and ready to react.

  • Emergency Drills: We conduct monthly fire, "shelter-in-place," and evacuation drills so that even our youngest students know exactly what to do without fear.

  • Reunification Plan: We have a pre-coordinated plan with local East Greenville authorities for off-site reunification should we ever need to evacuate the building.

5. Transparency as a Policy

We believe parents should never have to wonder what’s happening behind closed doors. That’s why we maintain an "Open Door" communication policy. Whether it’s through our daily digital updates or a quick check-in at the door, you are always in the loop.

Your Peace of Mind is Our Priority

Choosing a daycare is an act of trust. We invite you to come and inspect our "Fortress of Care" for yourself. See the locks, meet the (fully cleared!) teachers, and feel the calm that comes with knowing your child is in the safest hands in Montgomery County.
